I recently went to a party where it seemed like everyone there was coupled up. Everyone it seemed, except for me. I could have invited someone to come with me, but I didn’t bother. 2. Only accept invitations to parties where there will be more singles. Some hosts and hostesses seek out couples to place on their invitee list. This may be great when you’re in a relationship or have a date, but if you don’t, it can get lonely real quick. You’ll start to stand out like a fifth wheel and people will try to hook you up with their friends the entire night. Save yourself the irritation.
3. Visit several parties in one night. New Year’s Eve is all about the party scene. You shouldn’t feel like you have to be boggled down at one place all night.
